We made it to Isla Mujeres last Friday. The crossing was a mix of calm seas and hold on. We fished on Sunday and caught a sail, jumped off a sail and had one to a long rigger that wouldn’t eat. Tuesday we ran up the beach about 45 miles in hopes that we would find the mother load. Of the four boats that went one boat caught 3,we jumped one off and the other two didn’t see one. There we plenty of bonita, jack carvels . Not the way I had envisioned it ,but still early. The weather today is overcast and windy. We are going bottom fishing on Friday and Sat weather permitting. Nathan has moved on and Colin Oxnard is now in the cockpit along with Junior.
